महिलाओं को रोजगारोन्मुख बनाने हेतु सिलाई, कटाई, बुनाई, पेन्टिंग, मधुबनी पेन्टिंग, एपलिक, सौन्दर्य एवं प्रसाधन एवं अन्य व्यवसायिक प्रशिक्षण देना एवं स्वावलम्बी बनाने में मदद करना ।
महिलाओं एवं बच्चों के चौमुखी विकास हेतु महिला मंडल, स्वयं सहायता समूह, पालना गृह, पौष्टिक आहार केन्द्र, महिला सशक्तिकरण आदि कार्यक्रमों का संचालन करना ।

समाज के गरीब एवं निःसहाय लोगों के आर्थिक विकास हेतु लघु उद्योग, कुटीर उद्योग, गृह उद्योग, खादी ग्रामोद्योग, मत्स्यपालन, मधुमक्खीपालन, रेशमकीट पालन, पशुपालन, डेयरी उद्योग, फल एवं खाद्य प्रसंस्करण का प्रशिक्षण देना एवं स्वावलम्बी बनने में मदद करना । जनवितरण प्रणाली संबंधित कार्य करना ।
नेत्रहीन, मूक, बधिर, शारीरिक रूप से विकलांग एवं मानसिक रूप से अर्द्धविकसित बच्चों, लोगों के शैक्षणिक विकास हेतु कार्य करना । उनके लिए कल्याणकारी कार्यों का सम्पादन करना । विकलांगता के रोकथाम हेतु कार्य करना ।
ऊर्जा के संरक्षण हेतु बायो गैस प्लांट, सौर ऊर्जा, ऊर्जा के गैर पारम्परिक स्रोतों की जानकारी देना एवं उपलब्ध कराना ।
पर्यावरण को प्रदूषण मुक्त बनाने हेतु वृक्षारोपण एवं अन्य कार्यक्रमों का संचालन करना । ग्रामीण एवं शहरी क्षेत्र में स्वच्छता अभियान का संचालन करना । लोगों को स्वच्छ पेयजल, शौचालय आदि उपलब्ध कराना ।
